Anastasya Terenkova werd geboren in Moskou en begon haar pianostudies op zesjarige leeftijd aan de befaamde Gnessin School voor jonge, uitzonderlijke talenten. In 2001 behaalde ze de “Cycle et Doctorat diplôme d’artiste interprète” in het Conservatorium van Parijs in de klas van G. Pludermacher, F. Guy en J. Rouvier. Kamermuziek volgde ze bij Itamar Golan. Ze volgde Masterclasses met V. Krainev, D. Bashkirov, P. Bianconi, A. Ciccolini, C. Eschenbach en werd bijgestaan door R. Shereshevskaya.
Anastasya is winnaar en laureaat van menige internationale piano wedstrijden onder meer de Cincinnati International World Piano Competition, Dorothy MacKenzie Artist Recognition Award in New York en de Gawon International Music Award.
Naast haar werk als soliste is ook kamermuziek een grote passie. Ze speelde met G. Apap, J. Ducros, L. Naouri, l’Ensemble Musique Oblique, P. Gomziakov, T. Samouil, S. Treznin, N. Tchitch en anderen.
Ze speelde in het Annecy music festival, festival d’Auvers-sur-Oise, Les Solistes a Bagatelle, Festival Chopin in Paris, Festival de musique de Menton, Piano aux Jacobins Liszt en Provence, Festival de Nohant, Le Printemps des Arts de MonteCarlo, International Keyboard Institute and Festival in New-York, Myra Hess Concert Series in Chicago, Bluthner Piano Series in Leipzig, Trestler Music Series in Montréal, Palau de les Arts Reina Sophia in Valencia en anderen.
In 2016 werd ze uitgenodigd voor het project van John Malkovich “The Report on the Blind”. Anastasya speelde recent als soliste met onder meer ISolisti Aquilani, Armenian State Symphony Orchestra, Sudwestfalen Pilharmonie, Varazdin Chamber Orchestra….
