Pianist Andrei Gologan kreeg steun en begeleiding van gerenommeerde muzikanten zoals Sir András Schiff, Daniel Barenboim en Richard Goode. Andrei werd geboren in Roemenië en begon zijn studie bij pianist en componist Iulian Arcadi Trofin. Hij kreeg zijn eerste pianoles op vijfjarige leeftijd en won slechts zes maanden later zijn eerste pianowedstrijd met werken van Czerny, Beethoven en Schumann. In 2012 verhuisde hij naar Salzburg om zijn studie voort te zetten bij Pavel Gililov aan de Universität Mozarteum waar hij in 2020 zijn masterdiploma behaalde. Dankzij een Erasmusbeurs kon hij een jaar aan de Hochschule für Musik in Keulen bij Claudio Martínez-Mehner studeren. Andrei ontvangt een beurs van de Verbier Festival Academy en het Oxford Piano Festival en hij blijft regelmatig begeleiding krijgen van Sir András Schiff, Richard Goode en Ferenc Rados. Eerdere mentoren zijn onder meer Daniel Barenboim, Gidon Kremer, Gábor Takács-Nagy en Thomas Adès.

Recent highlights include an invitation from Sir András Schiff to take part in his Building Bridges series, which led to debut recitals across Europe at venues such as the Konzerthaus (Berlin), deSingel Arts Centre (Antwerp), and Beethovenhaus (Bonn), among others. He has also made celebrated guest appearances at festivals like Mozartwoche (Salzburg), Schleswig-Holstein, and Herbstgold (Estherházy Palace, Eisenstadt). In 2012, he moved to Salzburg to continue his studies with Pavel Gililov at the Universität Mozarteum, where he completed his Master’s degree in 2020. An Erasmus Scholarship enabled him to study for a year at the Hochschule für Musik in Cologne with Claudio Martínez-Mehner. Andrei is a scholarship recipient of the Verbier Festival Academy and the Oxford Piano Festival, and he continues to receive regular guidance from Sir András Schiff, Richard Goode, and Ferenc Rados. Past mentors include Daniel Barenboim, Gidon Kremer, Gábor Takács-Nagy, and Thomas Adès.
