Na haar studies aan het Koninklijk Muziekconservatorium van Gent waar ze zangopleiding volgde bij Zeger Vandersteene en Paule Daloze, bekwaamde Anne Cambier zich verder aan de Londense Guildhall School of Music and Drama bij de vermaarde zangpedagoge Noelle Barker. Tegelijk volgde ze tal van masterclasses bij gerenommeerde pedagogen zoals Graham Johnson, Suzanne Danco, Hugues Cuénod en Thomas Hampson.
Tijdens haar verblijf in Londen vertolkte Anne Cambier reeds verscheidene rollen bij diverse Britse operagezelschappen en werkte ze regelmatig samen met Les Arts Florissants onder leiding van William Christie in Frankrijk en over de hele wereld.
Anne trad veel op in Spanje met onder andere het barokensemble La Grande Chapelle onder leiding van Ángel Recasens alsook met haar eigen barokensemble I Justiniani.
Vanaf 1996 neemt haar carrière een hoge vlucht mede dankzij haar halve finaleplaats in de Koningin Elisabethwedstrijd 1996. Ze wordt gevraagd door de meeste Belgische orkesten en werkt samen met dirigenten C. Hogwood, A. Pappano, S. Ozawa, R. Goebel, P. Goodwin, P. Dombrecht en G. Octors, Frank Agsteribbe, D. Brossé en anderen.
Ze is te horen bij de Munt in Brussel, Opera Vlaanderen en Muziektheater Transparant waar ze tal van uiteenlopende rollen vertolkt.
De sopraan is een graag geziene gaste aan het Belgische Koninklijke Hof. Zo zong zij onder meer tijdens een kerstconcert op het Paleis in Brussel en tijdens het huwelijk van prins Philippe en prinses Mathilde.
Anne Cambier bezit een uitgebreid liedrepertoire van Haydn tot Bernstein.
Ze schittert in het barokke repertoire met een uitzonderlijke soepele stem. Zo is ze regelmatig te gast bij barokorkesten zoals Musica Antiqua Köln, Les Agrémens, Il Fondamento, The Academy of Ancient Music, La Petite Bande. Verder zingt ze geregeld met haar eigen barokensemble I Justiniani.
Haar cd’s, waaronder Haydn Lieder, Mozart-Haydn Lieder, Loüez par des chansons nouvelles de Henry Du Mont, Kosegarten de F. Schubert, Juanelo de D. Brossé, Residentieconcerten Den Haag, Marie-Antoinette et ses Airs, American Songs, Songs by Henry Purcell, kregen uitstekende recensies.
Samen met Michael Pas speelde ze de muziektheaterproductie Quel beau jour, het leven van Marie-Antoinette, geïllustreerd met muziek die aan haar is opgedragen. Een wereldpremière!

After her studies at the Royal Music Conservatory of Ghent, where she trained in singing with Zeger Vandersteene and Paule Daloze, Anne Cambier continued her training at the London Guildhall School of Music and Drama with the renowned singing teacher Noelle Barker. Simultaneously, she attended numerous master classes with esteemed educators such as Graham Johnson, Suzanne Danco, Hugues Cuénod, and Thomas Hampson.
During her stay in London, Anne Cambier performed several roles with various British opera companies and collaborated regularly with Les Arts Florissants, conducted by William Christie, in France and around the world. Anne has had extensive performances in Spain, including collaborations with the baroque ensemble La Grande Chapelle, conducted by Ángel Recasens, and her own baroque ensemble, I Justiniani.
Since 1996, her career has flourished, partly due to her semi-final placement in the 1996 Queen Elisabeth Competition. She has been invited by most Belgian orchestras and has worked with conductors such as C. Hogwood, A. Pappano, S. Ozawa, R. Goebel, P. Goodwin, P. Dombrecht, G. Octors, Frank Agsteribbe, and D. Brossé. Anne can be heard at the Munt in Brussels, Opera Vlaanderen, and Muziektheater tTransparant, performing a variety of roles. The soprano is a cherished guest at the Belgian Royal Court, having sung at events such as a Christmas concert at the Palace in Brussels and the wedding of Prince Philippe and Princess Mathilde.
Anne Cambier possesses an extensive song repertoire ranging from Haydn to Bernstein. She excels in the baroque repertoire with an exceptionally smooth voice and is a regular guest with baroque orchestras such as Musica Antiqua Köln, Les Agrémens, Il Fondamento, The Academy of Ancient Music, and La Petite Bande. Additionally, she frequently performs with her own baroque ensemble, I Justiniani. Together with Michael Pas, she performed the musical theater production Quel beau jour, depicting the life of Marie-Antoinette, illustrated with music dedicated to her.
