Antigone Hourt begon op vijfjarige leeftijd met vioolspelen en studeerde bij Françoise Vervoort aan de Academie van Sint-Agatha-Berchem. In 2019 sloot Antigone zich aan bij de Musica Mundi School met professor Leonid Kerbel.
Van 2019 tot 2023 nam ze deel aan de ‘Musica Mundi International Chamber Music Course and Festival’ waar ze de kans kreeg om te leren van grote artiesten zoals Mihaela Martin, Leonid Kerbel, Andreas Frölich, Alexandra Soumm, Jerome Pernoo, Sivan Magen, Catherine Michel, Maxim Rysanov en Jacques Rouvier.
Ze volgde ook masterclasses bij Tatiana Samouil, Josef Kluson, Vaclav Remes, Alexis Galpérine, Marc Danel en Marie Fuxová.
Antigone is een gepassioneerd kamermuziekspeler en had de kans om te musiceren met en te leren van Guy Danel, Rachel Koblyakov, Brodsky Quartet, Zenne Quartet en anderen. Ze treedt regelmatig op in onder meer het Festival en Poitou, Chamber Music for Europe Concertsen Arte Amanti Festival.
Sinds 2023 studeert ze met een Johnson-beurs aan het Royal College of Music.
Antigone Hourt started playing the violin at the age of five and studied with Françoise Vervoort at the Academy of Sint-Agatha-Berchem. In 2019, Antigone joined the Musica Mundi School with Professor Leonid Kerbel.
From 2019 to 2023, she participated in the Musica Mundi International Chamber Music Course and Festival, where she had the opportunity to learn from great artists such as Mihaela Martin, Leonid Kerbel, Andreas Frölich, Alexandra Soumm, Jérôme Pernoo, Sivan Magen, Catherine Michel, Maxim Rysanov, and Jacques Rouvier.
She also took masterclasses with Tatiana Samouil, Josef Kluson, Václav Remeš, Alexis Galpérine, Marc Danel, and Marie Fuxová.
Antigone is a passionate chamber music player and has had the opportunity to perform with and learn from Guy Danel, Rachel Koblyakov, the Brodsky Quartet, and the Zenne Quartet. She regularly performs at the Festival en Poitou, Chamber Music for Europe concerts, and the Arte Amanti Festival.
Since 2023, she has been studying at the Royal College of Music with a Johnson scholarship.
