Bram Nolf
Hoboïst Bram Nolf kreeg zijn opleiding aan de conservatoria van Gent, Rotterdam en Parijs. Zijn belangrijkste docenten waren Paul Beelaerts, Emanuel Abbühl en David Walter. Tijdens zijn studies werd hij geselecteerd voor een aantal internationale jeugdorkesten met dirigenten als Claudio Abbado, Pierre Boulez, Kurt Sanderling en Herbert Blomstedt.
Zijn professionele orkestcarrière begon in het Symfonieorkest Vlaanderen in 1996, waarna hij in 1999 de overstap maakte naar het Nationaal Orkest van België, waar hij nog altijd actief is.
Als solist probeert hij zowel het geijkte repertoire, als vernieuwende muziek te brengen. Hij werd daarbij onder andere begeleid door het Collegium Instrumentale Brugense, het Symfonieorkest van Vlaanderen, I Fiamminghi, Prima la Musica, het Nederlands Ballet Orkest, het Nationaal Orkest van België en l’Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie.
Daarnaast treedt hij vaak op als kamermusicus, dikwijls bewust kiezend voor hedendaagse muziek en cross-over-projecten.
Samen met vier collega’s uit het Nationaal Orkest vormt hij het 5 Beaufort houtblaaskwintet dat zich toelegt op het grote kwintet-oeuvre, met speciale aandacht voor de Belgische componisten.
Bram Nolf is docent hobo en althobo aan de Ecole Supérieure des Arts in Mons.
Zijn discografie omvat onder meer Vivaldi-concerti met het Collegium Instrumentale Brugense, het volledige werk voor houtblazers van Joseph Jongen en de cd ‘Pastoral Melancholy’ met pianist Hans Ryckelynck.
Luc Loubry
Luc Loubry studeerde aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium Antwerpen en behaalde er de hogere diploma’s fagot en kamermuziek. Later studeerde hij in Genève bij Michel Denize en in Parijs bij Maurice Allard.
Als solofagottist bespeelt hij een fagot Buffet-Crampon, Paris.
In 1976 werd hij aanvoerder bij het Belgian National Orchestra.
Daarnaast was of is hij lid van verschillende ensembles, Collegium Instrumentale Brugense , onder leiding van Patrick Peire, Houtblazerstrio Avena, Pianokwintet Amadea & Bellerophone Ensemble, beiden met de befaamde pianist André de Groote, Harpeggione Ensemble, Duo Legno met cello en fagot en het 5 Beaufort Blaaskwintet van het Belgian National Orchestra.
Luc Loubry werd laureaat van verschillende belangrijke internationale wedstrijden in Brussel, Praag, Genève en Colmar.
Sinds 1993 doceert hij fagot en kamermuziek aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel waar hij meerdere vooraanstaande solisten en uitmuntende orkestmusici vormde.
Hij gaf internationale masterclasses en was jurylid bij belangrijke, internationale muziekinstellingen en orkesten.
Zijn uitgebreide discografie omvat meer dan veertig titels met het belangrijkste kamermuziekrepertoire, concerti en recitalwerken, van Händel over Mozart tot Jolivet.
Naast talrijke creaties van hedendaags werk brengt hij ook ‘herontdekkingen’ van vergeten historisch repertoire uit belangrijke muziekbibliotheken (Parijs, Londen en Washington).
Hans Ryckelynck
Hans Ryckelynck studeerde piano bij Johan Duijck aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Gent en aan de Muziekkapel Koningin Elisabeth in Argenteuil, waar hij summa cum laude afstudeerde. Hij vervolmaakte zich in Parijs bij de vermaarde pianist Abdel Rahman El Bacha.
Als solist en kamermusicus is hij een vaste waarde op de Belgische podia, het ‘Festival van Vlaanderen’ en ‘Les festivals de Wallonie’ en gaf hij concerten in heel Europa, China en Japan. Hij trad ook op met het Nationaal Orkest van België, The Brussels Philharmonic, l’Orchestre Royal de Chambre de Wallonie en Casco Phil.
Hij werkt onder meer samen met musici als Hendrik en Ludo Ide in het Pianotrio I Giocatori, Jean-Michel Dayez, Yuki Hori, Eliot Lawson, Bram Nolf, Luc Loubry, Jan Sciffer en Eliz Erkalp.
Hans Ryckelynck is laureaat van het ‘Tenuto Concours’ en van ‘Vocatio’.
Daarnaast verwierf hij de prijs van de ‘Belgische Artistieke Promotie van Sabam’.
Als pedagoog geniet Hans Ryckelynck een uitstekende reputatie. Hij is docent piano aan het Conservatoire Royal de Mons en gastprofessor piano aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Brussel. Tevens wordt hij vaak uitgenodigd voor masterclasses .
Zijn discografie omvat een vijftiental cd-opnames, waaronder heel wat pianomuziek van Joseph Jongen. Deze opnames werden door de Belgische en internationale pers heel lovend onthaald. Ook de cd-opnames met het pianotrio I Giocatori werden door de Vlaamse radio Klara geselecteerd en bekroond.
Bram Nolf
Oboist Bram Nolf was educated at the conservatories of Ghent, Rotterdam and Paris. His most important teachers were Paul Beelaerts, Emanuel Abbühl and David Walter. During his studies he was selected for a number of international youth orchestras with conductors such as Claudio Abbado, Pierre Boulez, Kurt Sanderling and Herbert Blomstedt.
His professional orchestral career began with the Flanders Symphony Orchestra in 1996, after which he switched to the National Orchestra of Belgium in 1999, where he is still active.
As a soloist he tries to bring both the standard repertoire and innovative music. He was accompanied by, among others, the Collegium Instrumentale Brugense, the Symphony Orchestra of Flanders, I Fiamminghi, Prima la Musica, the Dutch Ballet Orchestra, the National Orchestra of Belgium and l’Orchester Royal de Chambre de Wallonie.
In addition, he often performs as a chamber musician, often consciously opting for contemporary music and cross-over projects.
Together with four colleagues from the National Orchestra, he forms the 5 Beaufort woodwind quintet, which focuses on the great quintet oeuvre, with a special focus on Belgian composers.
Bram Nolf teaches oboe and cor anglais at the Ecole Supérieure des Arts in Mons.

Luc Loubry

Luc Loubry was laureate of several important international competitions in Brussels, Prague, Geneva and Colmar.
Since 1993 he has taught bassoon and chamber music at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where he has trained several leading soloists and outstanding orchestral musicians.
He gave international masterclasses and was a jury member at important international music institutions and orchestras.
His extensive discography includes more than forty titles with the most important chamber music repertoire, concertos and recital works, from Handel over Mozart to Jolivet.

Hans Ryckelynck
