Diana Kettler werd geboren in Riga in een bekende muzikantenfamilie. Ze volgde een opleiding aan de Emils Darzins Specialist Music School en de Jazeps Vitols Latvian Academy of Music in Riga, de Mozarteum Academy in Salzburg en aan de Royal Academy of Music in Londen.
Diana trad op als soliste en kamermusicus op veel van de meest prestigieuze podia in de wereld, waaronder Musikverein en Konzerthaus in Wenen, Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, Suntory Hall en Tokyo Opera City Hall, Osaka Symphony Hall, Atheneum in Boekarest, Gasteig en Prinzregententheater in München.
Ze speelde op tal van festivals, zoals ‘Lucerne Festival’, ‘Rheingau Musik Festival’, ‘Carintisher Sommer’, ‘Boswil Sommer Festival’, ‘Spoletto Festival’, ‘Oxford Chamber Music Festival’ en vele andere.
Diana heeft ook een grote interesse voor hedendaagse muziek en werkte met componisten als Gyorgy Ligeti, Franco Donatoni, Peteris Vasks, Santa Ratniece, Marcelo Nisinman en anderen. Ze is professor piano aan de Royal Academy of Music in Londen en gaf masterclasses in Noorwegen, Spanje, Tsjechië, Japan, Letland, Italië, Duitsland en Zwitserland.
Diana is mede-stichter van de Interferente International Chamber Music Workshop, die plaatsvindt in Roemenië, Italië, Oekraïne en Duitsland. Ze heeft mee het Ensemble Raro opgericht, een van de meest geprezen jonge kamermuziekgroepen van vandaag. Diana is artistiek leider van het ‘Chiemgauer Musikfrühling Festival’ in Beieren, Duitsland en van het ‘SoNoRo Festival’ in Boekarest, Roemenië.

Diana has performed as a soloist and chamber musician at many of the most prestigious venues in the world, including Musikverein and Konzerthaus in Vienna, Carnegie Hall, Wigmore Hall, Suntory Hall and Tokyo Opera City Hall, Osaka Symphony Hall, Atheneum in Bucharest, Gasteig and Prinzregententheater in Munich.
She played at numerous festivals, such as ‘Lucerne Festival’, ‘Rheingau Musik Festival’, ‘Carintisher Sommer’, ‘Boswil Sommer Festival’, ‘Spoletto Festival’, ‘Oxford Chamber Music Festival’ and many others.
Diana also has a great interest in contemporary music and has worked with composers such as Gyorgy Ligeti, Franco Donatoni, Peteris Vasks, Santa Ratniece, Marcelo Nisinman and others. She is a professor of piano at the Royal Academy of Music in London and has given masterclasses in Norway, Spain, the Czech Republic, Japan, Latvia, Italy, Germany and Switzerland.
Diana is a co-founder of the Interferent International Chamber Music Workshop, which takes place in Romania, Italy, Ukraine and Germany. She co-founded the Ensemble Raro, one of today’s most acclaimed young chamber music groups. Diana is the artistic director of the ‘Chiemgauer Musikfrühling Festival’ in Bavaria, Germany and of the ‘SoNoRo Festival’ in Bucharest, Romania.
