In februari 2024 brengt Elodie Vignon haar eerste album met orkest uit, getiteld ‘Songes’. Ook met drie soloalbums pakt ze het orkestrepertoire aan, samen met het Tsjechische Virtuosi-ensemble onder leiding van de Belgische dirigent Eric Lederhandler. Op haar derde soloalbum ‘Dans l’air du soir’, op 21 november uitgebracht door Cypres, was een delicate Franz Liszt te horen in drie sonnetten uit Petrarca en drie concertstudies. Met de Spaanse Suite van Isaac Albeniz bekoorde ze muziekliefhebers. 5 Diapasons, een absolute Joker van Crescendo magazine, een week lang ‘Choix Musiq3’, evenals ‘Disque du jour’ in de show ‘En Pistes’ van France Musique, vormen het bewijs.
Daarnaast bracht ze in oktober 2022 een album SANGS uit met de Franse alt Sarah Laulan, dat met 4 Classica-sterren en 4 Diapasons werd bekroond.
Met het onafhankelijke Belgische label Cypres maakte Elodie in 2018 haar eerste album uit, gewijd aan Claude Debussy, dat 4 Classica-sterren en ‘Debussy Best Performers’ in Pianist Magazine Duitsland opleverde. In 2020 gaat ze verder met ‘D’ombres’, een album dat de drie Preludes en de sonate van Henri Dutilleux samenbrengt, gecombineerd met ‘Surgir’, een stuk in opdracht van Claude Ledoux. Voor de release werd Vignon uitgenodigd voor het Flagey Piano Days Festival. Haar creatie in samenwerking met danser en choreograaf Nono Battesti ‘Entre Temps’ werd geselecteerd voor het Propulse festival. Opgemerkt door Classica of Resmusica, zal ze ook te gast zijn bij Générations France Musique. Elodie Vignon ontving de Octave Point Culture voor ‘D’ombres’.
Na jaren studie aan het Conservatorium van Lyon woonde Elodie 18 jaar lang in België en studeerde aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Brussel in de klas van Daniel Blumenthal.
In 2010 kruiste ze het pad van Nelson Delle-Vigne Fabbri. Vervolgens werd ze artiest in residentie bij de stichting Bell’arte, opgericht door Delle-Vigne Fabbri. Daarna trad ze in Europa op, de Filippijnen en de VS, met name onder leiding van wereldberoemde dirigenten als Ramon Tebar of Philippe Entremont. De laatste seizoenen brachten haar naar het Palais des Beaux Arts in Charleroi, op tournee in Italië met het orkest van het Livorno Theater, in Luxemburg en in Frankrijk in Cesson-Sévigné, Thionville, Avignon en het Hongaars Instituut van Parijs. Op dit moment wil ze het complete oeuvre van Claude Debussy aanpakken. Een dubbelalbum wordt in februari 2025 door Cypres uitgegeven.
In February 2024, Elodie Vignon will release her first orchestral album titled ‘Songes.’ Additionally, she explores the orchestral repertoire through three solo albums in collaboration with the Czech Virtuosi ensemble, led by Belgian conductor Eric Lederhandler. Her third solo album, ‘Dans l’air du soir,’ released on November 21 by Cypres, features delicate compositions by Franz Liszt, including three sonnets from Petrarch and three concert studies. The album also captivates music enthusiasts with Isaac Albeniz’s Spanish Suite, earning accolades such as 5 Diapasons, an absolute Joker from Crescendo magazine, a week of ‘Choix Musiq3,’ and ‘Disque du jour’ on the show ‘En Pistes’ by France Musique.
Furthermore, Elodie Vignon collaborated with French contralto Sarah Laulan on the album ‘SANGS,’ released in October 2022, which received 4 Classica stars and 4 Diapasons. With the independent Belgian label Cypres, Elodie released her debut album in 2018, dedicated to Claude Debussy, earning 4 Classica stars and ‘Debussy Best Performers’ in Pianist Magazine Germany. In 2020, she continued with ‘D’ombres,’ an album featuring three Preludes and the sonata by Henri Dutilleux, combined with ‘Surgir,’ a piece commissioned by Claude Ledoux. Prior to the release, Vignon was invited to the Flagey Piano Days Festival. Her creation in collaboration with dancer and choreographer Nono Battesti, ‘Entre Temps,’ was selected for the Propulse festival. After years of studying at the Lyon Conservatory, Elodie lived in Belgium for 18 years and pursued her studies at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels under the guidance of Daniel Blumenthal. In 2010, she crossed paths with Nelson Delle-Vigne Fabbri, becoming an artist in residence at the Bell’arte foundation founded by Delle-Vigne Fabbri. Subsequently, she performed in Europe, the Philippines, and the US, collaborating with world-renowned conductors such as Ramon Tebar and Philippe Entremont. In recent seasons, she has graced venues such as the Palais des Beaux Arts in Charleroi, toured Italy with the orchestra of the Livorno Theater, and performed in Luxembourg and France, including Cesson-Sévigné, Thionville, Avignon, and the Hungarian Institute of Paris. Currently, her ambition is to tackle the complete oeuvre of Claude Debussy, with a double album set to be released by Cypres in February 2025.
