Ezgi Göktürk is een in 1997 in Turkije geboren pianiste. Ze is klassiek geschoold in zowel Turkije als Finland. Met haar unieke combinaties van programma en repertoirekeuzes draagt ze bij aan de actuele pianocultuur. Momenteel gebaseerd in Luxemburg geeft ze actief vorm aan de culturele muziekscene in de Benelux, de Scandinavische landen en Turkije. Naast haar solistencarrière heeft ze uitgebreide ervaring in het werken met diverse ensembles, waaronder alle mogelijke kamermuziekformaties, orkesten en hedendaagse muziekcollectieven.
Ezgi studeerde aan het Hacettepe University Ankara State Conservatory bij Diler Argat en Öznur Orbay. Ze vervolgde haar studies aan de Sibelius Academie onder de artistieke leiding van gerenommeerde pianisten als Erik T. Tawaststjerna, Antti Siirala en Anna Kuvaja. Daarbij genoot ze van het collegegeld van grote kamermusici als Paavo Pohjola, Tuomas Turriago en Martti Rautio. Tevens begeleidden andere invloedrijke leraren haar, waaronder Ilhan Baran, Victor Rosenbaum, Avedis Kouyoumdjian en Antti Hotti.
Ezgi is met verschillende prijzen in verschillende muziekconcours bekroond, als ‘Pera Piano Competition’ in Turkije, ‘Helmi Vesa Piano Competition’ en ‘Tampere Piano Competition’ in Finland. Zij wordt regelmatig uitgenodigd om deel te nemen aan internationale mastercursussen en festivals, waaronder de ‘Mozarteum Summer Academy’ in Oostenrijk, ‘International Bartok Music Festival’, ‘Antalya Piano Festival’ in Turkije, ‘Muziekacademie van Villecroze’ in Frankrijk, ‘Nurmes Summer Academy’ in Finland.
Gedurende haar hele carrière werd ze door verschillende artistieke stichtingen met subsidies en beurzen ondersteund. Ezgi werd geselecteerd door het ondersteuningsprogramma ‘Women Stars of Tomorrow’ van de Istanbul Stichting voor Cultuur en Kunst (İKSV). Voor haar masterstudies in Finland wordt ze financieel bijgestaan door de ‘Dr. Nejat F. Eczacıbaşı Foundation’.
Ezgi Göktürk is a pianist born in Turkey in 1997. She is classically trained in both Turkey and Finland. With her unique combinations of program and repertoire choices, she contributes to the current piano culture. Currently based in Luxembourg, she actively shapes the cultural music scene in the Benelux, the Scandinavian countries and Turkey. In addition to her solo career, she has extensive experience working with various ensembles, including all possible chamber music formations, orchestras and contemporary music collectives.

Throughout her career, she has been supported with grants and grants by various artistic foundations.
