Hyunji Kim, geboren in Zuid-Korea, voltooide haar initiële opleiding in haar thuisland waarna ze zich in Frankrijk en Duitsland vervolmaakte. Ze studeerde onder leiding van gerenommeerde meesters als András Schiff, Hortense Cartier-Bresson en Hie-Yon Choi terwijl ze ook waardevolle inzichten ontving van Daniel Barenboim en Murray Perahia.
Als soliste trad ze op in prestigieuze zalen waaronder de Philharmonie de Paris, La Seine Musicale en de Pierre Boulez Saal in Berlijn. Ze werd uitgenodigd voor festivals als het Festival de Colmar en Musique à la Prée en nam deel aan befaamde academies zoals de Gstaad Menuhin Academie en de Wilhelm Kempff Academie.
Haar passie voor historische instrumenten bracht haar ertoe pianoforte te studeren bij Daria Fadeeva. Hyunji Kim gaf talloze pianoforte recitals met name in het Musée de la Musique in Parijs.
Born in South Korea, Hyunji Kim pursued her musical education in France and Germany after completing her initial studies in her home country. She trained under the guidance of renowned masters such as András Schiff, Hortense Cartier-Bresson, and Hie-Yon Choi, while also receiving valuable insights from Daniel Barenboim and Murray Perahia.
As a soloist, she has performed in prestigious venues, including the Philharmonie de Paris, La Seine Musicale, and the Pierre Boulez Saal in Berlin. Invited to renowned festivals such as the Festival de Colmar and Musique à la Prée, she has also participated in esteemed academies like the Gstaad Menuhin Academy and the Wilhelm Kempff Academy.
Her passion for historical instruments has led her to study the fortepiano under Daria Fadeeva. Hyunji Kim has given numerous fortepiano recitals, most notably at the Musée de la Musique in Paris.
