Lisa, violiste en harpiste, is geboren in 2006. Net voor haar vierde verjaardag startte Lisa met een vioolopleiding volgens de Suzuki- methode. Op zesjarige leeftijd zette Lisa haar muziekstudie verder aan de muziekacademie van Bornem waar ze de studie viool, zang, notenleer en dans aanvatte.
Net voor Lisa’s elfde verjaardag kwam de harp toevallig op Lisa’s weg. Ze combineerde gedurende verschillende jaren de vakken viool, harp, zang, notenleer en AMC, muziektheorie, kamermuziek, orkest en dans. Eind juni 2022 studeerde Lisa met grootste onderscheiding af in de harpklas van de academie van Bornem en slaagde ze vervolgens voor het ingangsexamen aan het Conservatorium van Namen. Ze werd als Jong Talent toegelaten tot de harpklas van Sophie Hallynck bij wie ze sindsdien wekelijks les volgt.
Van september 2019 tot juni 2024 zette Lisa haar vioolstudies verder bij Erik Sluys.
Lisa volgde de afgelopen jaren masterclasses bij Yossif Ivanov, Tatiana Samouil en Igor Tkatchouk.
Lisa neemt deel aan orkeststages en concerten met het Youth Orchestra Flanders (YOF) en Brussels Sinfonietta. Zo mocht ze met YOF optreden in het Concertgebouw Brugge, Flagey, deSingel en de Bijloke, samen met Koningin Elisabethwedstrijd-laureaten Liebrecht Vanbeckevoort, Sylvia Huang en Victor Julien-Laferrière. Na de YOF-audities in oktober 2024 werd Lisa geselecteerd als co-concertmeester en zal ze het orkest tijdens de komende orkestprojecten mee aanvoeren.
Lisa behaalde heel wat eerste prijzen zoals de eerste prijs in de eerste Crickboom vioolwedstrijd in Verviers, de eerste prijs in de ‘Vlamo-wedstrijd voor viool’ met 99,5 procent en lof van de jury, een tweede prijs voor harp en de twee aanmoedigingsprijzen voor viool en harp in het Nederlandse ‘Prinses Christina Concours’.
In mei 2022 kreeg Lisa de eer om in het Koninklijk Paleis met de harp op te treden voor Koningin Mathilde tijdens de uitreiking van de Koningin Mathildeprijs.
In juni 2024 voltooide Lisa de humaniora wetenschappen-wiskunde. In september startte ze haar studies hoger onderwijs aan de conservatoria van Brussel en Namen. In Brussel studeert ze viool in de klas van Yossif Ivanov. In Namen zet ze haar harpstudies verder bij Sophie Hallynck. Lisa geniet ervan om voluit voor de muziek te gaan en beide instrumenten te combineren. Lisa deelt haar passie graag met haar publiek wanneer ze optreedt als soliste, in kamermuziekensemble en met orkest.
Lisa, a violinist and harpist, was born in 2006. She demonstrated a great passion for music from an early age. Just before her fourth birthday, Lisa began violin lessons using the Suzuki method. At the age of six, she continued her music education at the music academy in Bornem, where she studied violin, singing, music theory, and dance.
Just before her eleventh birthday, Lisa discovered the harp by chance. She instantly fell in love with the instrument and spent several years combining her studies of violin, harp, singing, music theory, musical analysis, chamber music, orchestra, and dance. In June 2022, Lisa graduated with the highest distinction in harp from the Bornem academy and successfully passed the entrance exam for the Conservatory of Namur. She was admitted as a Young Talent to the harp class of Sophie Hallynck, with whom she has been taking weekly lessons ever since.
From September 2019 to June 2024, Lisa continued her violin studies with Erik Sluys.
Over the years, she also attended several masterclasses with renowned musicians such as Yossif Ivanov, Tatiana Samouil, and Igor Tkatchouk.
Lisa regularly participates in orchestral workshops and concerts with the Youth Orchestra Flanders (YOF) and Brussels Sinfonietta. With YOF, she has performed in prestigious venues such as Concertgebouw Brugge, Flagey, deSingel, and de Bijloke, alongside Queen Elisabeth Competition laureates Liebrecht Vanbeckevoort, Sylvia Huang, and Victor Julien-Laferrière. After the YOF auditions in October 2024, Lisa was selected as co-concertmaster and will lead the orchestra in upcoming projects.
Over the years, Lisa has achieved numerous first prizes, including first place in the inaugural Crickboom Violin Competition in Verviers, first prize in the “Vlamo Violin Competition” with 99.5% and high praise from the jury, as well as a second prize for harp and two encouragement awards for violin and harp at the Dutch Princess Christina Competition.
In May 2022, Lisa had the special honor of performing with her harp at the Royal Palace for Queen Mathilde during the presentation of the Queen Mathilde Prize.
In June 2024, Lisa completed her secondary education in sciences and mathematics. In September, she began her higher education studies at the conservatories of Brussels and Namur. In Brussels, she studies violin in the class of Yossif Ivanov, while in Namur, she continues her harp studies with Sophie Hallynck. Lisa enjoys dedicating herself fully to music and combining both instruments. She is a passionate musician who loves sharing her enthusiasm with audiences as a soloist, in chamber music ensembles, and with orchestras.
