Viool, Violin, Harp

Lisa is geboren in 2006. Ze toonde al op jonge leeftijd een grote passie voor muziek. Net voor haar vierde verjaardag startte Lisa met een vioolopleiding volgens de Suzuki- methode bij Fedra Coppens. Op zesjarige leeftijd stroomde ze door naar het reguliere DKO-onderwijs aan de Academie van Bornem, waar ze de studie van viool, zang, notenleer en dans aanvatte.
Op tienjarige leeftijd kwam de harp quasi toevallig op Lisa’s weg. De vonk sloeg over en ze combineerde gedurende verschillende jaren de vakken viool, harp, zang, notenleer en AMC, muziektheorie, kamermuziek, orkest en dans.
Sinds september 2019 zet Lisa haar vioolstudies verder bij Erik Sluys. Lisa volgde gedurende vele jaren kamermuzieklessen bij Paul Van Loey en meerdere masterclasses bij Yossif Ivanov en Tatiana Samouil.
Eind juni 2022 studeerde Lisa met grootste onderscheiding af in de harpklas van Ellen Schafraet en slaagde ze met verve voor het ingangsexamen aan het Conservatorium van Namen. Ze werd als Jong Talent toegelaten tot de harpklas van Sophie Hallynck, bij wie ze nu wekelijks les volgt.
Lisa neemt verschillende keren per jaar deel aan orkeststages en concerten met het Youth Orchestra Flanders (YOF) en Brussels Sinfonietta. Zo mocht ze met YOF optreden in het Concertgebouw Brugge, Flagey, deSingel en de Bijloke. Op die locaties voerde het YOF samen met Koningin Elisabethwedstrijd-laureaten Liebrecht Vanbeckevoort, Sylvia Huang en Victor Julien-Laferrière respectievelijk het derde pianoconcerto van Rachmaninov, het eerste Bruchconcerto en het eerste celloconcerto van Shostakovich uit.
Lisa behaalde de afgelopen jaren heel wat eerste prijzen, zoals de eerste prijs in de Crickboom vioolwedstrijd in Verviers, de eerste prijs in de ‘Vlamo-wedstrijd voor viool’ met 99,5 procent en lof van de jury, een tweede prijs voor harp en de twee aanmoedigingsprijzen voor viool en harp in het Nederlandse ‘Prinses Christina Concours’. In mei 2022 kreeg Lisa de bijzondere eer om in het Koninklijk Paleis, met haar harp op te treden voor Koningin Mathilde tijdens de uitreiking van de Koningin Mathildeprijs.
Sinds september 2022 combineert Lisa de humaniora wetenschappen-wiskunde met een muziekopleiding als Jong Talent aan het Conservatorium. Dankzij haar topkunstenstatuut kan ze haar passie voor viool en harp nog meer uitleven.
Lisa was born in 2006, she showed a great passion for music at a young age. Just for her Fourth birthday, Lisa started violin training according to the Suzuki method with Fedra Coppens. At the age of six she moved on to regular DKO education at the Academy of Bornem, where she started studying violin, singing, solfege and dance.
At the age of ten, the harp almost coincidentally came on Lisa’s way. The spark flew and she combined the subjects of violin, harp, singing, solfege and AMC, music theory, chamber music, orchestra and dance for several years.
Since September 2019, Lisa continues her violin studies with Erik Sluys. For many years Lisa took chamber music lessons with Paul Van Loey and several masterclasses with Yossif Ivanov.
At the end of June 2022, Lisa graduated with highest distinction in Ellen Schafraet’s harp class and passed the entrance exam at the Conservatory of Namur with verve. She was admitted to Sophie Hallynck’s harp class, with whom she now takes weekly lessons.
In addition, Lisa participated several times a year in orchestral internships and concerts with SOV-Young, YOF and Brussels Sinfonietta. She was allowed to perform with YOF in the Concertgebouw Brugge, Flagey, deSingel and the Bijloke. In the latter location, the YOF, together with Queen Elisabeth Competition laureates Liebrecht Vanbeckevoort and Sylvia Huang, performed the third piano concerto by Rachmaninov and the first Bruch concerto respectively.
Last year Lisa won first prize in the ‘Vlamo competition for violin’ with 99.5 percent and praise from the jury, second prize for harp, second prize in the ‘Stringendo competition’ for violin and the two incentive prizes for violin and harp in the Dutch ‘Prinses Christina Concours’.
Since September 2022, Lisa has been combining the humanities sciences-maths with a
music education at the Conservatory and she can continue her passion for violin and harp even more indulge.
