De in Londen wonende pianist Łukasz Krupiński won de 7e San Marino International Piano Competition, de Audience Award, de Music Critics’ Award en de Orchestra Award.
Lucas was finalist op de Ferruccio Busoni International Piano Competition in Bolzano en won internationale pianoconcoursen, Chopin Geselschaft in Hannover, ClaviCologne in Aken en MeetingPoint Music Messiaen 2020 in Görlitz. Hij was halve finalist op de 17e Frederic Chopin International Piano Competition in Warschau 2015.
Zijn debuutalbum Espressione werd genomineerd voor de International Classical Music Awards 2018 en kreeg uitstekende persrecensies. Zijn opnames waren te horen op internationale radiostations waaronder BBC Radio 3, WQXR in New York, ABC Australia, Polish Radio 2 en CBC Music in Canada.
Lucas gaf zijn debuutrecital in het Isaac Stern Auditorium van Carnegie Hall in 2018 en ontving uitnodigingen om met de Chicago Philharmonic en de Buffalo Philharmonic te spelen. In hetzelfde seizoen ging hij op tournee met het Santander Orchestra en de legendarische Lawrence Foster. Tijdens de Olympische Winterspelen in Zuid-Korea gaf Lucas een speciaal recital in PyeongChang. Hij trad onlangs op in de Wigmore Hall in Londen (2021), Teatro La Fenice in Venetië, La Verdi in Milaan, Royal Albert Hall in Londen en Merkin Hall in New York en gaf recitals in Parijs, Peking, Tokio en Sydney.
Lucas kreeg de Nationale Erfgoedprijs voor opmerkelijke artistieke prestaties. Behalve dat ontving hij het Krystian Zimerman Foundation Scholarship. In 2016 werd hij geëerd met een Herdenkingsmedaille van de Frederic Chopin University of Music als erkenning voor zijn artistieke prestaties. Hij kreeg een prestigieuze DAAD-beurs voor zijn postdoctorale studie in Duitsland. Vanaf 2021 wordt hij ondersteund door het Royal Philharmonic Society Enterprise Fund in samenwerking met Harriet’s Trust.
Lucas werd geboren in Warschau in Polen in 1992. Hij studeerde eerder aan de Zenon Brzewski School of Music bij professor Joanna Ławrynowicz, aan de Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warschau, waar hij afstudeerde met een ‘Magna cum Laude’ onderscheiding onder supervisie van professor Alicja Paleta-Bugaj en dr. Konrad Skolarski. Hij vervolgde zijn studie bij professor Arie Vardi aan de Hannover University of Music, Drama and Media (2017-2018) en bij professor Dmitri Alexeev aan het Royal College of Music in Londen (2018-2019).
Lucas Krupinski is een Steinway-kunstenaar, en maakt deel uit van de Ludwig van Beethoven Vereniging waarvan mevrouw Elzbieta Penderecka voorzitster is.

He was a semi-finalist at the 17th Frederic Chopin International Piano Competition in Warsaw 2015.
His debut album Espressione was nominated for the 2018 International Classical Music Awards and received excellent press reviews. His recordings have been heard on international radio stations including BBC Radio 3, WQXR in New York, ABC Australia, Polish Radio 2 and CBC Music in Canada.
Lucas gave his debut recital at Carnegie Hall’s Isaac Stern Auditorium in 2018 and received invitations to play with the Chicago Philharmonic and the Buffalo Philharmonic. Lucas received the National Heritage Prize for outstanding artistic achievements. Besides that, he received the Krystian Zimerman Foundation Scholarship. In 2016, he was honored with a Commemorative Medal from the Frederic Chopin University of Music in recognition of his artistic achievements. He received a prestigious DAAD scholarship for his postgraduate studies in Germany. From 2021 he will be supported by the Royal Philharmonic Society Enterprise Fund in partnership with Harriet’s Trust.
Lucas was born in Warsaw, Poland in 1992. He previously studied at the Zenon Brzewski School of Music with Professor Joanna Ławrynowicz, at the Frederic Chopin University of Music in Warsaw, where he graduated with a ‘Magna cum Laude’ distinction under the supervision of Professor Alicja Paleta-Bugaj and Dr. Konrad Skolarski.
