Maximilian Maisky, geboren in 2004, is een Belgisch-Italiaanse pianist. Hij begon op vierjarige leeftijd piano te spelen bij Lyl Tiempo en was een aantal jaren leerling van Hagit Hassid-Kerbel.
Dertien jaar jong werd hij een van de eerste studenten van de onlangs geopende Musica Mundi School in Waterloo, België, waar hij bleef studeren bij Hagit Hassid-Kerbel en regelmatig masterclasses volgde bij Jacques Rouvier. Met de school trad hij talloze malen op in heel België, zowel in kamermuziek als met solostukken, en nam hij tijdens de zomer regelmatig deel aan de Musica Mundi Cursus en Festival.
Maximilian treedt regelmatig op met zijn vader, Mischa Maisky, en zijn oudere zus, Lily Maisky. In oktober 2022 maakte hij zijn debuut in Japan waar hij samen met zijn vader in de Suntory Hall speelde. In 2023 maakte hij zijn debuut bij de Philharmonie van Berlijn.
Sinds september 2023 is Maximilian een undergraduate RCM Scholar aan het Royal College of Music onder leiding van professor Dmitri Alexejev.
Maximilian Maisky, born in 2004, is a Belgian-Italian pianist. He began playing the piano at the age of 4 under the guidance of Lyl Tiempo. For several years, he studied with Hagit Hassid-Kerbel.
At the age of 13, Maximilian became one of the first students at the newly opened Musica Mundi School in Waterloo, Belgium. There, he continued his studies with Hagit Hassid-Kerbel and regularly participated in masterclasses with Jacques Rouvier. He performed frequently across Belgium with the school, showcasing both chamber music and solo pieces. Additionally, he actively participated in the Musica Mundi Course and Festival during the summer.
Maximilian regularly collaborates with his father, Mischa Maisky, and his older sister, Lily Maisky. In October 2022, he made his debut in Japan, performing at the Suntory Hall alongside his father. In 2023, he debuted at the Philharmonie of Berlin.
Since September 2023, Maximilian has been an undergraduate RCM Scholar at the Royal College of Music under the tutelage of Prof. Dmitri Alexeev.
