De fluitiste Mihaela Goldfeld is geboren in Boekarest en zij begon haar muzikale opleiding op 7-jarige leeftijd aan het Gymnasium “Dinu Lipatti” in haar geboortestad. Ze vervolgt haar studies aan de Musikhochschule in Lübeck/Duitsland bij Professor Angela Firkins. Daar verwerft ze haar master- en concertiste-diploma’s met brio.
Mihaela won verschillende eerste prijzen bij nationale en internationale wedstrijden, zoals “Jeunesses Musicales Lions”, de wedstrijd Possehl in Lübeck en “Pacem in Terris” in Bayreuth.
Zij trad op als soliste met befaamde orkesten, zoals het Symfonische Orkest van de Radio van Roemenië, het Filharmonisch Orkest “Ramnicu Valcea”, het Bach Orkest van Lüneburg, en het Filharmonisch Orkest van Lübeck.
Na haar samenwerking met het Symfonisch Orkest van Hamburg, het Filharmonisch Orkest van Kiel en de Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, is Mihaela Goldfeld sinds 2007 eerste fluitiste bij het Filharmonisch Orkest van Bremen in Duitsland.
Na groot succes op het Internationaal Brahms Festival in Oostenrijk in 2018, werd zij uitgenodigd voor een recital op hetzelfde festival in september 2021: dit werd door de Oostenrijkse Radio ORF opgenomen.
Kamermuziek is de grote passie van Mihaela: daarin worden daar rijke timbre en weelderige klank ten zeerste gewaardeerd.
Flutist Mihaela Goldfeld was born in Bucharest and started her musical education at the age of 7 at the Gymnasium “Dinu Lipatti” in her hometown. She continues her studies at the Musikhochschule in Lübeck/Germany with Professor Angela Firkins. There she obtained her master and concertist diplomas with brilliance.
Mihaela has won several first prizes at national and international competitions, such as “Jeunesses Musicales Lions”, the Possehl competition in Lübeck and “Pacem in Terris” in Bayreuth.
She has performed as a soloist with renowned orchestras, such as the Symphony Orchestra of the Radio of Romania, the Philharmonic Orchestra “Ramnicu Valcea”, the Bach Orchestra of Lüneburg, and the Philharmonic Orchestra of Lübeck.
After her collaboration with the Hamburg Symphony Orchestra, the Kiel Philharmonic Orchestra and the Deutsche Kammerphilharmonie Bremen, Mihaela Goldfeld has been principal flutist with the Bremen Philharmonic Orchestra in Germany since 2007.
After great success at the International Brahms Festival in Austria in 2018, she was invited for a recital at the same festival in September 2021: this was recorded by the Austrian Radio ORF.
Chamber music is Mihaela’s great passion: rich timbre and lush sound are highly valued there.
