    Sascha Maisky werd geboren in Brussel op 11 mei 1989 en begon zijn vioolstudie op driejarige leeftijd. Zijn eerste docenten waren Leonid Kerbel, Leon Souroujon en Igor Oistrakh. 

    Sascha had het voorrecht om muzikale begeleiding te ontvangen van Julian Rachlin, Maxim Vengerov, Felix Andrievsky, Itzhak Rashkovsky, Vadim Gluzman, Edvard Grach, Nam-Yun Kim en Dmitri Sitkovetsky. 

    Nadat hij zijn studie in Engeland met onderscheiding had afgerond onder de voogdij van Evgeny Grach, verhuisde Sascha naar Wenen waar zijn professor Boris Kuschnir was. Sascha treedt regelmatig op in de meest prestigieuze locaties ter wereld zoals de Berlin Philharmonie, Elbphilharmonie, Köln Philharmonie, Suntory Hall, Tonhalle Zürich en Musikverein Wien evenals op de Verbier- en Lugano-festivals. Dit naast artiesten als Martha Argerich, Julian Rachlin, Janine Jansen, Maxim Rysanov en Yuri Bashmet. 

    Sascha treedt ook op in trio met zijn vader Mischa en zus Lily waarbij hij vaak het Triple Concerto van Beethoven uitvoert.


    Sascha Maisky was born in Brussels on May 11, 1989, and began his violin studies at the age of three. His early teachers included Leonid Kerbel, Leon Souroujon, and Igor Oistrakh.

    Sascha has had the privilege of receiving musical guidance from renowned artists such as Julian Rachlin, Maxim Vengerov, Felix Andrievsky, Itzhak Rashkovsky, Vadim Gluzman, Edvard Grach, Nam-Yun Kim, and Dmitri Sitkovetsky.

    After completing his studies in England with honors under the tutelage of Evgeny Grach, Sascha moved to Vienna to study with Professor Boris Kuschnir.
    Sascha regularly performs in some of the world’s most prestigious venues, including the Berlin Philharmonie, Elbphilharmonie, Kölner Philharmonie, Suntory Hall, Tonhalle Zürich, and Musikverein Wien. He has also appeared at esteemed festivals such as the Verbier Festival and Lugano Festival, collaborating with artists like Martha Argerich, Julian Rachlin, Janine Jansen, Maxim Rysanov, and Yuri Bashmet.

    Sascha frequently performs as part of a trio with his father, Mischa Maisky, and his sister, Lily Maisky, often presenting works such as Beethoven’s Triple Concerto.
