Taïlin Donckers start zijn piano opleiding op de leeftijd van tien jaar.
Onder supervisie van leraar Fr. Lefèvre behaalt hij verschillende eerste en tweede prijzen in prestigieuze wedstrijden, Breughel, Steinway, Charlier en Cantabile.
Hij zet zijn studie verder onder leiding van Jacques Rouvier en Hagit Hassid-Kerbel aan de Musica Mundi School en op 17 jarige leeftijd bij Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden.
Momenteel studeert hij aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel onder leiding van Johann Schmidt. Als solist trad hij op in Bozar, Studio 4 Flagey, de Academische zaal van ULG, MSK Brussel, de Singel Antwerpen, het Nice Classic Festival en de Academia Tadini Lac d’Iseo. Taïlin kon zijn vaardigheden perfectioneren met illustere pianisten als Michel Beroff, Pascal Godart, Olivier Gardon en Vincenzo Balzani.
Voor zijn artistieke verdiensten ontving hij in 2022 de provinciale ereonderscheiding van de provincie Waals-Brabant. In Juni 2023 wint hij de tweejaarlijkse Maurice Lefranc-prijs als beste pianist van het Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel.
Taïlin Donckers started his piano training at the age of ten. Under the supervision of teacher Fr. Lefèvre he won several first and second prizes in prestigious competitions, Breughel, Steinway, Charlier and Cantabile.
He continued his studies under the guidance of Jacques Rouvier and Hagit Hassid-Kerbel at the Musica Mundi School and at the age of 17 with Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden. He is currently studying at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels under the direction of Johann Schmidt.
As a soloist he has performed at Bozar, Studio 4 Flagey, the Academic Hall of ULG, MSK Brussels, the Singel Antwerp, the Nice Classic Festival and the Academia Tadini Lac d’Iseo. Taïlin was able to perfect his skills with illustrious pianists such as Michel Beroff, Pascal Godart, Olivier Gardon and Vincenzo Balzani.
For his artistic merits, he received the provincial honorary award from the province of Walloon Brabant in 2022. In June 2023 he won the biennial Maurice Lefranc Prize as best pianist of the Royal Conservatory of Brussels.
