Tatiana Samouil werd geboren in een familie van vooraanstaande muzikanten.
Op veertienjarige leeftijd werd ze geselecteerd door het Russische ‘New Names Program’ en trad op in de meest prestigieuze concertzalen van Rusland en Europa. Ze verhuisde naar Moskou om te studeren bij de legendarische Maia Glezarova aan het prestigieuze Tsjaikovski Conservatorium in Moskou. Daar behaalde zij met bijzondere vermelding haar solistendiploma. Vervolgens verhuisde ze naar België om haar studie verder te zetten bij Igor Oistrakh aan het Conservatorium van Brussel.
Tatiana Samouil won prijzen op zeven van de meest prestigieuze internationale vioolconcoursen, met name de ‘Tchaikovsky International Competition’ in Moskou (2002), de ‘Koningin Elisabeth Competitie’ in Brussel (2001), de ‘Michael Hill International Competition’ in Nieuw-Zeeland (2001) en de ‘Internationale Jean Sibelius Vioolwedstrijd’ in Helsinki (2000).
Ze deelt vaak het podium met andere grote muzikanten van onze tijd. Ze musiceerde met Yuri Bashmet, Denis Matsuev, Maxim Vengerov, Vadim Repin, Gautier Capuçon, Gérard Caussé, Augustin Dumay, Frans Helmerson en Gary Hofmann.
Tatiana trad met veel plezier op onder leiding van dirigenten als Antonio Pappano, Christian Arming, Kazushi Ono, Dmitry Liss, Gilbert Varga, Jean-Jacques Kantorow en vele anderen.
Tatiana is een van de oprichters van het Malibran kwartet.
Ze is professor viool aan de prestigieuze Muziekkapel Koningin Elisabeth, het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Brussel en aan het Spaanse Musikene Superior Arts Center in San Sebastián.
Tatiana Samouil was born into a family of eminent musicians. She was selected by the Russian “New Names Program” at the age of fourteen, performing at the most prestigious concert halls in Russia and Europe. She moved to Moscow to study with the legendary Maia Glezarova at the prestigious Moscow Tchaikovsky Conservatory, where she obtained her Soloist’s Diploma with extraordinary mention. Later, she moved to Belgium to continue her studies with Igor Oistrakh at the Brussels Conservatory.
Tatiana Samouil has won prizes at seven of the most prestigious international violin competitions, including the “Tchaikovsky International Competition” in Moscow (2002), the “Queen Elisabeth Competition” in Brussels (2001), the “Michael Hill International Competition” in New Zealand (2001), and the “International Jean Sibelius Violin Competition” in Helsinki (2000).
She frequently shares the stage with other great musicians of our time; Yuri Bashmet, Denis Matsuev, Maxim Vengerov, Vadim Repin, Gautier Capuçon, Gérard Caussé, Augustin Dumay, Frans Helmerson, and Gary Hofmann have performed alongside her. Tatiana has enjoyed performing with conductors such as Antonio Pappano, Christian Arming, Kazushi Ono, Dmitry Liss, Gilbert Varga, Jean-Jacques Kantorow, and many others, including Carlos (Lisbon) and the South Czech Philharmonic.
Tatiana is a founding member of the Malibran quartet. She is a Professor of Violin at the prestigious Chapelle Musicale Reine Elisabeth (Queen Elisabeth), the Brussels Royal Conservatory, and the Musikene Superior Arts Center in San Sebastián (Spain).
