Akari Bastiaens kreeg haar eerste podiumervaring op vijfjarige leeftijd. Al zeer vroeg bleek haar uitgesproken aanleg voor de piano, die zich nog duidelijker manifesteerde toen zij op zesjarige leeftijd de Steinway Pianowedstrijd België won. Naast de eerste prijs in haar leeftijdscategorie ontving zij ook de Steinway & Sons-prijs, waarmee zij België mocht vertegenwoordigen op het internationale Steinway Festival in Hamburg. Deze vroege erkenning vormde het begin van een opmerkelijk traject.

Sindsdien behaalde Akari talrijke successen op nationale en internationale pianowedstrijden, waar zij herhaaldelijk werd bekroond met eerste prijzen en bijzondere onderscheidingen. In 2023 won zij de eerste prijs en de Mozartprijs voor de beste vertolking van een werk van Mozart op het internationale pianoconcours MozArte in Aken. Een jaar later volgden de eerste prijs, de persprijs en de publieksprijs op het Internationaal Pianoconcours voor Jonge Musici in Enschede. In 2025 werd haar artistieke maturiteit opnieuw onderstreept met de eerste prijs, de persprijs en de publieksprijs op het Prinses Christina Concours, evenals met de eerste prijs op het Internationaal Chopinconcours voor de Jeugd in Szafarnia. De jury prees daarbij haar poëtische en stilistisch uiterst zuivere uitvoering van Chopins Tweede Ballade.

Akari studeert sinds 2019 aan het Junior Conservatorium Maastricht, waar zij pianoles volgde bij Joop Celis en vanaf september 2025 bij Ashley Wass. Daarnaast is zij sinds 2022 academiestudent aan de Davidsbündler Music Academy in Den Haag, waar zij wordt begeleid door Tatiana Abayeva en Borys Fedorov. Haar muzikale vorming wordt verder verdiept door regelmatige masterclasses bij Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, met bijzondere aandacht voor interpretatie en uitvoeringspraktijk.

Ondanks haar jonge leeftijd trad Akari reeds op op tal van professionele podia en festivals. Zij was onder meer soliste op het Arte Amanti International Chamber Music Festival met het Arte Amanti Kamerorkest en was te gast op het Grachtenfestival, het International Festival Vocalis, de Gentse Feesten en het Ljubljana Festival. In het najaar van 2025 vertolkte zij meermaals het Pianoconcert in G van Maurice Ravel met het Euregio Jeugdorkest. In 2026 staat haar uitvoering van het Pianoconcert van Edvard Grieg gepland in het Concertgebouw Amsterdam, samen met het Philips Symphony Orchestra.

Akari Bastiaens gained her first stage experience at just five years old. Her remarkable talent for the piano quickly became apparent, and at the age of six she won the Steinway Piano Competition Belgium. She not only received first prize in her age category, but also the Steinway & Sons Prize, which led to her representing Belgium at the Steinway Festival in Hamburg.

Since then, Akari has enjoyed major success at national and international competitions, earning numerous first prizes and special awards. In 2023 she won First Prize and the Mozart Prize for the best performance of one of his works at the international MozArte Piano Competition in Aachen (DE). The following year she received First Prize, the Press Prize, and the Audience Prize at the International Piano Competition for Young Musicians in Enschede (NL). In 2025 she was awarded First Prize, the Press Prize, and the Audience Prize at the Princess Christina Competition (NL), as well as First Prize at the International Chopin Competition for Youth in Szafarnia (Poland), where the jury praised her poetic and stylistically pure interpretation of Chopin’s Second Ballade.

Akari has been studying at the Junior Conservatorium Maastricht since 2019, previously under Professor Joop Celis and, from September 2025, with Professor Ashley Wass. Since 2022 she has also been an academy student at the Davidsbündler Music Academy in The Hague, where she studies with Tatiana Abayeva and Borys Federov. She regularly attends performance and interpretation masterclasses with Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden.

Despite her young age, Akari has already appeared on many professional stages. She performed as soloist with the Arte Amanti Chamber Orchestra at the Arte Amanti International Chamber Music Festival, and has been invited to festivals such as the Grachtenfestival, International Festival Vocalis, Gentse Feesten, and the Ljubljana Festival. In autumn 2025 she performed Maurice Ravel’s Piano Concerto in G major several times with the Euregio Youth Orchestra. Looking ahead, she will perform Grieg’s Piano Concerto in the Concertgebouw Amsterdam in autumn 2026, together with the Philips Symphony Orchestra.

Viool, Violin

Jan Calabuig (°2007) is een Spaanse violist met een sterke internationale opleiding. Sinds 2020 studeert hij aan de prestigieuze Musica Mundi School, waar hij vioolles volgt bij Leonid Kerbel. Binnen deze stimulerende muzikale omgeving ontwikkelde Jan zich snel als jonge solist en ensemblemuzikant, met bijzondere aandacht voor muzikaliteit, techniek en expressie.

Naast zijn vaste opleiding nam Jan deel aan verschillende masterclasses bij vooraanstaande musici en pedagogen. Hij kreeg onder meer les van Midori Gotō, Mihaela Martin, Boris Garlitsky en Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden. Deze ontmoetingen met internationaal gerenommeerde artiesten hebben een belangrijke invloed gehad op zijn artistieke ontwikkeling en muzikale visie.

Jan blijft zich verder verdiepen in het solorepertoire en kamermuziek, en profileert zich als een veelbelovend jong talent binnen de internationale vioolwereld.

Jan Calabuig (born 2007) is a Spanish violinist with an international musical education. Since 2020, he has been studying at the prestigious Musica Mundi School under the guidance of Leonid Kerbel. Within this inspiring environment, Jan has rapidly developed as a young soloist and ensemble musician, focusing on technical refinement, musical expression and stylistic awareness.

In addition to his formal studies, Jan has participated in masterclasses with internationally renowned violinists and professors, including Midori Gotō, Mihaela Martin, Boris Garlitsky and Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden. These experiences have played a significant role in shaping his artistic voice and broadening his musical perspective.

Jan continues to expand his repertoire in both solo and chamber music and is regarded as a promising young talent on the international violin scene.

Cello

Felix Callot wordt geboren in 2011 in een muzikaal gezin en hij leert cello spelen op 5-jarige leeftijd bij Marijke Gonissen. Vervolgens neemt Claudine Steenackers hem jarenlang onder haar vleugels en volgt hij lessen bij Steven Caeyers. Vandaag studeert Felix in de celloklas van Justus Grimm.

Felix is op jonge leeftijd al te horen op de concertpodia. Zo treedt hij op in Flagey in 2021 voor het Cello Festival van Musique 3. Als Jong Talent van Arte Amanti speelt hij op het Koninklijk Paleis ter gelegenheid van de Koningin Mathilde Prijs.

In 2022 wordt hij laureaat van de Vlamo Virtuoso-wedstrijd met lof van de jury. In 2024 wint hij de tweede prijs in de prestigieuze Breughel-wedstrijd.

Felix speelt graag kamermuziek en heeft een strijkkwartet met zijn broer Jacob, Quinten de Graef en Titus Van Rijn, twee Nederlandse muzikanten die hij ontmoette op de Zomercursus Woudschoten. Ze behalen de Eerste prijs en de Ensemble prijs in het Prinses Christina Concours Regio Zuid 2025. Ze zijn regelmatig te horen op de Nederlandse en Belgische concertpodia. In Januari 2026 zijn ze te horen en te zien als Jonge Helden in NRT Podium Klassiek!

Felix is tevens lid van het Euregio-Jeugdorkest.

Samen met zijn broer/violist Jacob is hij regelmatig te horen als Jong Talent bij Arte Amanti. Ze treden regelmatig op met hun vader Nicolas Callot, tevens hun trouwe pianopartner. In de zomer van 2025 treden ze samen op in IJsland.

Felix Callot was born in 2011 into a musical family and began playing the cello at the age of five with Marijke Gonissen. He was subsequently mentored for several years by Claudine Steenackers and studied with Steven Caeyers. He currently studies cello with Justus Grimm.

Felix has been performing on concert stages from a very young age. In 2021, he appeared at Flagey during the Musique 3 Cello Festival. As a Young Talent of Arte Amanti, he performed at the Royal Palace on the occasion of the Queen Mathilde Prize.

In 2022, Felix became a laureate of the Vlamo Virtuoso Competition, receiving high praise from the jury. In 2024, he was awarded Second Prize at the prestigious Breughel Competition.

A passionate chamber musician, Felix plays in a string quartet with his brother Jacob and Dutch musicians Quinten de Graef and Titus Van Rijn, whom he met at the Woudschoten Summer Course. In 2025, the quartet won both First Prize and the Ensemble Prize at the Princess Christina Competition (Southern Region). They regularly perform on concert stages in Belgium and the Netherlands and will appear as Young Heroes on NTR Podium Klassiek in January 2026.

Felix is also a member of the Euregio Youth Orchestra.

Together with his brother, violinist Jacob, he frequently performs as a Young Talent with Arte Amanti. Their father, pianist Nicolas Callot, is their regular piano partner. In the summer of 2025, they performed together in Iceland.

Viool / Violin

Jacob Callot wordt geboren in 2009 in een muzikaal gezin en leert vanaf 4-jarige leeftijd viool spelen bij zijn mama, violiste Elisabeth Druwé. Hij volgt tevens privé-lessen bij Lucrezia Gomez. Op tienjarige leeftijd vervoegt hij de vioolklas van Erik Sluys aan de Muziekacademie van Anderlecht en vervolgens gaat hij twee jaar in de leer bij Jolente De Maeyer. Momenteel volgt hij les bij Eliot Lawson aan de Kunsthumaniora van Antwerpen.

In 2022 wint hij de Eerste Prijs van de Vlamo Virtuoso-Wedstrijd met lof van de Jury en in 2024 wint hij een Eerste Prijs in de Breughel wedstrijd. Hij behaalt in één enkele finale verschillende prijzen in het Prinses Christina Concours Regio Zuid 2025: de Tweede Prijs als solist en de Eerste Prijs én Ensemble Prijs kaapt hij weg met zijn Merula Strijkkwartet. Ook de wedstrijd voor Jonge Solisten van Stringendo gunt Jacob een Eerste Prijs, die hem de gelegenheid geeft om in 2026 met maar liefst met twee orkesten te spelen: ‘Stringendo’ olv. Pascale Van Os en het Symfonisch Orkest ‘De Lier’ olv. Rik Ghesquière. Hij zal het derde vioolconcerto van Saint-Saëns vertolken.

Jacob houdt van kamermuziek en vormt het Merula Strijkkwartet samen met zijn broer Felix en de Nederlandse jonge talenten Quinten de Graef en Titus Van Rijn. Ze ontmoetten elkaar op de Zomercursus Woudschoten. Sinds 2024 zijn ze regelmatig te horen op de Nederlandse en Belgische concertpodia. Jacob has a strong affinity for chamber music and is a member of the Merula String Quartet, together with his brother Felix and Dutch young talents Quinten de Graef and Titus Van Rijn, whom he met at the Woudschoten Summer Course. Since 2024, the quartet has been performing regularly in Belgium and the Netherlands and will appear as Young Heroes on NTR Podium Klassiek in January 2026.

Together with his brother Felix, Jacob frequently performs as a Young Talent with Arte Amanti, accompanied by their father, pianist Nicolas Callot. In the summer of 2025, they performed together in Iceland.

Viool, Violin

De veertienjarige Quinten wist al op zijn vierde dat hij viool wilde spelen. Na acht jaar les van docente Liora Ish Hurwitz is hij in 2023 gestart aan de Academie Muzikaal Talent en volgt daar les bij Chris Duindam. Quinten sleepte inmiddels diverse prijzen in de wacht waaronder een eerste prijs bij het prestigieuze Britten Concours.

Hij is concertmeester bij het Cuypersensemble en speelt graag kamermuziek in verschillende ensembles. Naast vioolspelen houdt hij van voetballen, reizen en scheikunde. Quinten zit in de derde klas gymnasium van het Comenius College Hilversum.

The 14-year-old Quinten knew at the age of four that he wanted to play the violin. After eight years of lessons with teacher Liora Ish Hurwitz, he began studying at the Academy of Musical Talent in 2023, where he takes lessons with Chris Duindam. Quinten has already won several awards, including first prize at the prestigious “Britten Competition.”

He is concertmaster of the Cuypers Ensemble and enjoys playing chamber music in various groups. In addition to playing the violin, he loves football, traveling, and chemistry. Quinten is in the third year of the gymnasium program at the Comenius College in Hilversum.

Geboren in 2004 in een familie van muzikanten begon Solange Delens op vierjarige leeftijd met pianolessen bij haar vader en op zevenjarige leeftijd met harplessen bij Annie Lavoisier. In 2012 nam Solange deel aan de Harpegio harp competitie waar ze de tweede prijs behaalde. In 2015 won zij in dezelfde wedstrijd de derde prijs in een hogere leeftijdscategorie. Op dertienjarige leeftijd werd ze als jong talent toegelaten aan het Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles. Ze nam deel aan verschillende masterclasses en stages bij gerenommeerde harpisten en pianisten zoals Isabelle Moretti, Anneleen Lenaerts, Agnès Clément, Catrin Finch, Emma Wauters, Christophe Saunière, Fabrice Pierre, Luc Devos en Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden.

In 2018 werd Solange toegelaten voor piano aan het KSO Lemmensinstituut in Leuven in de klas van Régine Willems terwijl ze de harp-opleiding bij Annie Lavoisier in Brussel voortzette. In juni 2022 beëindigde ze de middelbare studies met de hoogste onderscheiding voor haar pianorecital.

Ze besloot zich volledig aan de harp te wijden en begon in september 2022 aan het Conservatoire Royal de Bruxelles waar ze haar eerste jaar bachelor afrondde. Sinds september 2023 studeert ze aan de LUCA School of Arts in Leuven in de klas van Emma Wauters.

Solange werd geselecteerd om in 2025 met het Youth Orchestra Flanders te spelen.

Hendrik De Ryck (°2011) behoort tot de meest veelbelovende jonge cellisten van zijn generatie en valt op door zijn natuurlijke muzikaliteit, verhalende speelstijl en opmerkelijke podiumprésence. Hij begon op vierjarige leeftijd met cello bij Daan De Vos, waar al snel zijn uitgesproken aanleg voor het instrument aan het licht kwam. Op tienjarige leeftijd behaalde hij een tweede prijs in de Wedstrijd voor Jonge Solisten, een erkenning die de deur opende naar verdere gespecialiseerde opleiding.

Na deze vroege successen werd Hendrik toegelaten tot de afdeling Jong Talent van het Conservatorium van Amsterdam, waar hij les volgde bij Monique Heidema. Deze periode betekende een belangrijke verdieping van zijn technische basis en muzikale ontwikkeling. Sinds 2023 vervolmaakt hij zich als privéleerling bij Paul Heyman, en vanaf september 2024 maakt hij deel uit van de celloklas van professor Gustav Rivinius aan het Conservatorium van Maastricht. Deze combinatie van intensieve begeleiding en internationale expertise vormt een solide fundament voor zijn verdere artistieke groei.

Hendrik deed de afgelopen jaren ruime podiumervaring op tijdens diverse concerten en festivals. Zo was hij te horen op onder meer het Ocrum Muziekfestival in Breda, Averbode Klassiek en Festival Musicorum in Brussel. Daarnaast trad hij meermaals op als solist met ensembles en orkesten zoals het Britten Strijkorkest, Stringendo en het Herentals Symfonisch Orkest. In deze context weet hij zich telkens te onderscheiden door zijn expressieve kracht en zijn vermogen om een directe band met het publiek op te bouwen.

Zijn talent werd ook op wedstrijdniveau herhaaldelijk bekroond. Sinds 2021 behaalde Hendrik meerdere eerste prijzen op zowel nationaal als internationaal niveau, waaronder het Britten Celloconcours in Nederland, de VLAMO Virtuoso Finale 2024, de Internationale Music Academy FORTE-wedstrijd en het Junior Lionsconcours voor cello. De jury van het Brittenconcours prees hem als “een groot cellotalent dat zijn cello laat zingen, het publiek een verhaal vertelt en ontroert met zijn spel”, een typering die zijn artistieke profiel treffend samenvat.

Ter verdere verdieping van zijn muzikale vorming volgde Hendrik masterclasses bij vooraanstaande cellisten en pedagogen zoals Gregor Horsch, Olsi Leka, Aleksey Shadrin, Pierre Fontenelle, Stephanie Huang en Marie Hallynck. Deze ontmoetingen dragen bij aan zijn brede muzikale blik en verfijnde interpretatie, en bevestigen zijn ambitie om zich op hoog niveau verder te ontwikkelen binnen het internationale muzieklandschap.

Trompet, Trumpet

Warre Dendievel, in 2007 geboren, begon op vierjarige leeftijd met vioolles bij zijn moeder. Op zijn zevende schakelde hij over naar trompet bij Mieke De Meyer aan het Stedelijk Conservatorium van Brugge. Enkele jaren later besloot hij ook slagwerk te volgen aan de Stedelijke Academie van Roeselare.

De liefde voor de trompet haalde de bovenhand. Zo startte hij op zijn veertiende de bacheloropleiding bij Manu Mellaerts aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Brussel waar hij tot op heden studeert.

Als trompettist en slagwerker behaalde Warre tal van prijzen in wedstrijden. Hij werd laureaat van de nationale Sonatina-wedstrijd waar hij de eerste prijs voor trompet won. Ook in de Muse International Music Competition behaalde hij eerste prijzen voor zowel trompet als slagwerk. Sinds zijn volledige focus op de trompet won hij wedstrijden zoals VLAMO, de Brassband Willebroek Solo Contest, het Prinses Christina Concours in Nederland, de Stringendo-wedstrijd en de Chieri International Music Competition in Italië. In 2023 werd hij eveneens laureaat in het Concours Européen des Jeunes Trompettistes d’Alençon.

Als solist trad Warre meerdere keren op met orkest, strijkersensemble of brassband. Zijn repertoire omvat werken van componisten als Leopold Mozart, Antonio Vivaldi, Joseph  Haydn, Oskar Böhme, Guiseppe Torelli, Johann Wilhelm Hertel en George Gershwin.

Warre is al enkele jaren actief in verschillende jeugdorkesten waaronder het Youth Orchestra Flanders, het Antwerps Jeugdorkest, Jeugdorkest Nederland, SOV Young en het Euregio Jeugdorkest. Daarnaast speelde hij bij gerenommeerde gezelschappen zoals de Koninklijke Muziekkapel van de Gidsen, Koninklijke Muziekkapel van de de Luchtmacht en de nationale opera De Munt – La Monnaie.

Warre Dendievel (born 2007) began violin lessons with his mother at age 4. At seven, he switched to trumpet with Mieke De Meyer at the City Conservatory of Brugge. A few years later, he also decided to study percussion at the Municipal Academy of Roeselare.

The love for trumpet prevailed, and at fourteen, he started a bachelor’s program with Manu Mellaerts at the Royal Conservatory of Brussels, where he continues to study today.

As a trumpeter and percussionist, Warre has won numerous competition prizes. He became a laureate of the national Sonatina competition, winning first prize for trumpet. In the Muse International Music Competition, he achieved first prizes in both trumpet and percussion. Since focusing entirely on trumpet, he has won competitions including VLAMO, the Brassband Willebroek Solo Contest, the Princess Christina Competition in the Netherlands, the Stringendo competition, and the Chieri International Music Competition in Italy. In 2023, he was also a laureate in the “European Young Trumpeters Competition of Alençon.”

As a soloist, Warre has performed multiple times with orchestras, string ensembles, and brass bands. His repertoire includes works by composers such as L. Mozart, A. Vivaldi, J. Haydn, O. Böhme, G. Torelli, J.W. Hertel, and G. Gershwin.

Warre has been active in various youth orchestras for several years, including the Youth Orchestra Flanders, Antwerp Youth Orchestra, Netherlands Youth Orchestra, SOV Young, and the Euregio Youth Orchestra. Additionally, he has played with renowned ensembles like the Royal Music Chapel of the Guides, Royal Air Force Music Chapel, and the national opera De Munt – La Monnaie.

Geboren in 2013 begon Rafael Dieltjens op vierjarige leeftijd met cello. Sinds zijn eerste stappen wordt hij begeleid door Claudine Steenackers, bij wie hij nog steeds met veel enthousiasme studeert. Daarnaast volgt hij piano- en kamermuzieklessen aan de Academie van Vorst, waar hij zijn muzikale ontwikkeling verder verdiept.

Rafael staat bekend om zijn nieuwsgierigheid en gedrevenheid. Naast zijn passie voor muziek is hij actief in verschillende sportdisciplines, waaronder klimmen, padel en krav maga. Tot voor kort onderscheidde hij zich ook in schaaktoernooien, waar hij zijn strategisch inzicht en concentratievermogen verder ontwikkelde.

Zijn inzet en talent bleven niet onopgemerkt. In 2025 behaalde Rafael op cello de eerste prijs in zijn categorie tijdens zowel de Stringendo-wedstrijd als de Vlamo Virtuoso-wedstrijd. Met zijn enthousiasme, leergierigheid en brede interesses blijft hij zich zowel muzikaal als persoonlijk verder ontplooien.

Born in 2013, Rafael Dieltjens began playing the cello at the age of four. Since his very first steps, he has been guided by Claudine Steenackers, with whom he continues to study with great enthusiasm. In addition, he takes piano and chamber music lessons at the Forest Academy, where he further develops his musical skills.

Curious and highly motivated, Rafael combines his passion for music with a wide range of sports activities, including climbing, padel and krav maga. Until recently, he also distinguished himself in chess tournaments, where he refined his strategic thinking and concentration.

His dedication and talent have already led to remarkable achievements. In 2025, Rafael won first prize in his category on cello at both the Stringendo Competition and the Vlamo Virtuoso Competition. With his enthusiasm, eagerness to learn and broad interests, he continues to grow both musically and personally.

Anastassia Eggericx, 13 jaar, werd geboren in een familie van muzikanten. Ze begon op 3,5-jarige leeftijd met pianospelen. Momenteel studeert ze aan de Tsjaikovski Muziekschool in Brussel in de klas van Luba Aroutiounian.

Anastassia is laureaat van verschillende competities. In 2017 kreeg ze de 2^e prijs en de publieksprijs op de Rotary Breughel. In 2018 kreeg ze de 3^de prijs op Merci Maestro (Internationaal) in Brussel en de 1^ste prijs op de Luikse pianowedstrijd. In 2020 kreeg ze de 1^ste prijs op Andrée Charlier.

Ze treedt vaak op als soliste en met kamermuziek ensembles.
