İlayda Afşar werd in 2006 in Ankara geboren en haar muzikale wereld ging open toen ze op achtjarige leeftijd met pianolessen startte. In 2017 begon ze hobo te studeren aan de faculteit Muziek en Uitvoerende Kunsten van de Bilkent-universiteit, aanvankelijk onder leiding van Selçuk Akyol en later gedurende vijf jaar bij Ogün Koyunoğlu. Ze speelde ook twee jaar bij het Bilkent Youth Symphony Orchestra wat haar een waardevolle ervaring opleverde met optreden in een orkestbezetting.

In 2022 vervolgde ze haar studie aan de Musica Mundi International School in België waar ze samenwerkte met hoboprofessor Karel Schoofs. In 2024 drong ze tot de regionale finale van de Prinses Christina-wedstrijd door, won er de eerste prijs en bereikte zo de halve finale.

Tijdens haar studie nam ze deel aan masterclasses van gerenommeerde hoboïsten zoals

François Leleux, Ivan Podyomov, Lajos Lencses, Louis Baumann, Giorgi Kalandarishvili en Luk Nielandt. Hier verzamelde ze waardevolle inzichten en ervaringen.

Ze bouwde een divers repertoire op en speelt werken van componisten als Vivaldi, Mozart,

Schumann, Bellini, Strauss, Martinu, Pasculli en Lebrun waardoor ze een breed scala aan

stijlen en expressies in haar muziek laat horen.

Ze zit momenteel in het laatste studiejaar aan de Musica Mundi International School en blijft er haar muzikale vaardigheden ontwikkelen en nieuwe artistieke horizonten verkennen.

Throughout her studies, she has participated in masterclasses with renowned oboists such as François Leleux, Ivan Podyomov, Lajos Lencses, Louis Baumann, Giorgi Kalandarishvili, and Luk Nielandt, gaining valuable insights and experience.

She has built a diverse repertoire, performing works by composers such as Vivaldi, Mozart, Schumann, Bellini, Strauss, Martinu, Pasculli, and Lebrun, showcasing a wide range of styles and expressions in her music.

She is currently in her last year at Musica Mundi International School, where she is continuing to develop her musical skills and explore new artistic horizons.

Harp

Bujana Ameti, een Belgisch-Albanese geboren in 2005 in Luik, begon haar studie Keltische harp bij Primor Sluchin aan de Academie van Waremme in 2014. Ze won de eerste prijs in een harp-vioolduo op de Harppegio 2016 Competitie in Brussel in 2016. In 2017 stapte ze over op pedaalharp en ontving de Harpes Camacs 2017-prijs in de categorie Hope op de Felix Godefroid International Competition in Doornik. In 2018 behaalde ze de gouden medaille op de French Harp Competition in Limoges en een aanmoedigingsprijs op de Harppegio 2018 Competitie in Antwerpen.

Vanaf het academiejaar 2018/2019 sloot ze zich aan bij de nieuw opgerichte Musica Mundi School in Waterloo, onder leiding van professor Catherine Michel. Vanaf 2020 vervolgde ze haar studie daar bij Sivan Magen en nam deel aan masterclasses bij Anaïs Gaudemard, Letizia Belmondo en Sandrine Chatron.

Vanaf oktober 2023 vervolgt Bujana haar muzikale reis aan de Hochschule für Musik Detmold onder leiding van professor Godelieve Schrama.

Ze werd uitgenodigd voor concerten van Olsi Leka, de eerste celliste van het Nationaal Orkest van België, en nam deel aan een liefdadigheidsconcert georganiseerd door sopraan Ana Naqe na de aardbeving van 2019 in Albanië.

In de zomer van 2023 maakte ze deel uit van het Western Balkans Youth Orchestra (WBYO), dat op tournee ging door de Balkanlanden, Berlijn en Essen. Ze is een frequente gast op recepties van de ambassades van Albanië en Kosovo.

Bujana Ameti, a Belgian-Albanian born in 2005 in Liège, began her Celtic harp studies with Primor Sluchin at the Academy of Waremme in 2014. Viool, Violin

Delphine Anseeuw studeert bij professor Philippe Graffin aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel en volgt ook lessen bij Erik Sluys. Ze startte haar muzikale studies aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel na het behalen van haar diploma Latijn-Wiskunde in 2023.

Delphine volgde masterclasses bij onder andere Yossif Ivanov, Tatiana Samouil, Wibert Aerts, Alexei Moshkov en Guido De Neve. Ze nam deel aan meerdere muziekfestivals, zoals de Encuentro Internacional de Música in Cieza (Spanje), het Imuse Festival in Enghien (België), La Calamande in Grillon (Frankrijk) en de Resonances Academy in Ciney (België). Sinds 2021 wordt ze uitgenodigd als jong talent op het Arte Amanti muziekfestival.

Delphine kreeg een aantal keren de kans om op te treden als soliste met verschillende orkesten, onder andere met het Oost-Vlaams Kamerorkest, BachPlus, het DSO-Ensemble en het Arte Amanti Kamerorkest. Ze speelde als lid van meerdere orkesten in Flagey en Bozar in Brussel en in het Muziekgebouw aan ‘t IJ in Amsterdam. In kamermuziekverband concerteerde ze met haar zus Margaux reeds in België, Frankrijk, Oostenrijk, Nederland en Italië.

Margaux Anseeuw studeert aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium Brussel bij professor Piet Kuijken en aan de Friedrich Gulda School of Music in Wenen bij professor Philippe Raskin. Ze besloot om haar muzikale studies aan te vatten na het beëindigen van de humaniora Latijn-Wiskunde in 2020.

Margaux volgde meerdere masterclasses, onder andere bij maestri Jean-Claude Vanden Eynden, Jan Michiels, Vincenzo Balzani, Leonel Morales, Vovka Ashkenazy, Olga Kern, Pablo Galdo, Natalia Trull en Arie Vardi.

In 2020 behaalde Margaux de eerste prijs in de ‘Grand Concours International de Piano’ in Parijs. In 2021 won ze de eerste prijs in de ‘Tadini International Music Competition’ en de eerste prijs in de ‘Danubia Talents International Music Competition’. In 2022 behaalde ze de eerste prijs in de ‘Champion’s Keyboard International Competition’ en in 2023 won ze drie eerste prijzen in drie categorieën in de ‘Champion’s Keyboard International Competition’. In 2024 behaalde ze de eerste prijs in de ‘Nouvelles Etoiles Compétition’.

Margaux treedt regelmatig op als soliste. Naast haar solo optredens in België, Oostenrijk, Italië, Polen, Frankrijk, Nederland en Kroatië, trad Margaux ook op als soliste met orkest in België, Polen en Kroatië. In kamermuziekverband concerteerde ze met haar zus Delphine reeds in verschillende Belgische steden, in Breda, Parijs en Wenen.

Orchestra

Het kamerorkest werd in 2017 opgericht en bestaat uit een basis van zeventien strijkers en vier blazers, aangevuld naargelang het repertoire dat ze uitvoeren.

Het ensemble staat onder leiding van Reinilde Leyers.

Er was een grote vraag van jonge talenten binnen het Festival om ook een ensemble te vormen. Het debuut van het orkest werd laaiend enthousiast onthaald. Inmiddels speelde het Arte Amanti Chamber Orchestra al vaak in het Festival.

Het geeft talentrijke jongeren de ervaring om met de besten van hun generatie samen te spelen. Repertoire van kamerorkest en het leren begeleiden van solisten geeft de musici een brede basis in de verschillende aspecten en genres van orkestrepertoire.

Tevens krijgen de prille muzikanten de kans om als solist te debuteren. Wat in de aanloop naar internationale wedstrijden zowel letterlijk als figuurlijk een onbetaalbare ervaring is.

Harpiste Mathilde Wauters, violisten Veronique De Raedemaeker, Mona Verhas, Noémi Tiercet, Jiska Lambrecht, Luna De Mol, altvioliste Nina Poskin, cellist David Poskin, klarinettisten Emile Souvagie en Severine Sierens en hoboiste Ine Nuyttnes hebben zich inmiddels in meerdere internationale concours en audities onderscheiden.

Arte Amanti heeft expliciet de bedoeling en slaagt erin om jongeren podiumervaring te geven, als onderdeel van het orkest en als solist, een onmisbare schakel bij de belangrijke stap naar een professionele carrière.

Viool & Piano, Violin & Piano

Chloé Bakeroot werd in 2005 geboren, ze volgde haar eerste vioollessen toen ze vijf jaar was bij Francis Reusens aan de Podiumacademie in Lier. Drie jaar later startte ze met pianolessen bij Hilde Buyens. Beide instrumenten speelt ze met evenveel inzet en passie. Tijdens haar opleiding heeft ze meermaals mogen optreden als solist, zowel met viool als met piano. 

 Momenteel studeert Chloé aan twee conservatoria. Viool volgt ze bij Yossif Ivanov aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Brussel, piano volgt ze bij Sergei Edelmann aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Antwerpen. 

 In 2018 was Chloé laureate van de Belgische pianowedstrijd Cantabile. In 2021 behaalde ze een eerste prijs voor viool bij een wedstrijd voor jonge solisten georganiseerd door Stringendo.

 Chloé zingt in het Antwerpse Jeugdkoor Waelrant dat momenteel op de Interkultur Wereldranglijst voor koren de 11de plaats inneemt. Daarnaast zingt ze in het kamerkoor Camerata Waelrant.

 Het Hermesensemble voerde verschillende composities van haar uit in het kader van The Times, een forum voor jonge componisten. Ook werden een koorwerk en een werk voor strijkorkest van haar uitgevoerd. 

 Om haar artistieke horizon verder te verbreden, bekwaamt Chloé zich momenteel in orkestdirectie. Ze dirigeerde al meermaals concerten.

Chloé is also a vocalist in the Antwerp-based Jeugdkoor Waelrant, which is currently ranked 11th in the Interkultur World Choir Rankings. Additionally, she is a member of the chamber choir Camerata Waelrant.

Several of Chloé’s compositions have been performed by the HERMESensemble as part of The Times, a forum for young composers. Her choral works and a piece for string orchestra have also been performed in public.

To broaden her artistic horizons, Chloé is currently studying orchestral conducting and has already conducted at several concerts.

Raphael Becker is een Belgisch-Duitse pianist met Bulgaarse roots. Hij kreeg zijn eerste pianolessen van zijn moeder en volgde later aan de Kunsthumaniora te Antwerpen lessen bij Nicolas Callot. Hij behaalde zijn bachelor- en masterdiploma in de podiumkunsten bij Sergei Edelman aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium van Antwerpen.

Raphael concerteerde op het Arte Amanti Festival in Vlaanderen, voor de Marnixring, de Rotary club en stichting Robus. Hij nam ook deel aan de International Summer Academy Cervo in Italië, de Middle East Music Academy Dubai in de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten. Hij was te horen op internationale podia onder andere in Duitsland, Spanje, Italië, Bulgarije en de Verenigde Arabische Emiraten.

Verder heeft Raphael masterclasses gevolgd en lessen gekregen van pianisten als Ian Fountain, Lucas Blondeel, Henri Sigfridsson, Stephan Simonian en Plamena Mangova.

Hij nam deel aan internationale wedstrijden en werd laureaat in de ‘International Young Talent Music Competition’.

Raphael Becker is a Belgian-German pianist with Bulgarian roots.

De Leuvense pianist, Lenny Bui-Vandeput, begon op 6-jarige leeftijd met piano. Na zijn opleiding aan het KSO-Lemmensinstituut, vervolmaakte hij in 2021 zijn masterstudies aan het Koninklijk Conservatorium te Brussel onder toeziend oog van Jan Michiels. Hierna ging hij naar het buitenland om zich verder pianistiek te scholen aan het HEAR – Strasbourg onder leiding van Amy Lin.  Momenteel onderneemt hij een nieuwe masterstudie voor kamermuziek aan het LUCA Lemmensinstituut te Leuven in de klas van Liebrecht Vanbeckevoort. In 2021 maakte hij zijn orkestdebuut met het Ortenau Orchester in Offenburg, Duitsland met het 20ste piano concerto in re klein KV466 van Mozart.

Lenny werd reeds met verschillende prijzen bekroond. In 2019 kreeg hij achtereenvolgens de eerste prijs in ‘the International Young Euregio Piano Award’ in Geilenkirchen in Duitsland, de eerste medaille in ‘The International Piano Competition Challenge Aliénor de Parempuyre’ in Bordeaux in Frankrijk en de tweede prijs in ‘the 29th Young Musician International Competition Citta di Barletta’ in Italië, in 2018 werd hij finalist in ‘The César Franck International Piano Competion’ in België en in 2013 won hij de eerste prijs van ‘the Festival d’Anniviers’ in Zwitserland.

Daarnaast kreeg hij de kans om zich te perfectioneren tijdens verschillende internationale masterclasses bij gerenommeerde pianisten als Boris Berman, Jean-Claude van den Eynden, Hannes Minnaar, Eliane Rodriguez, Vitaly Samashko, Mariangela Vacatello, Björn Lehmann, Lucas Blondeel, Roland Krüger, Gilead Mishory. Hij trad reeds op als solist in Frankrijk, Zwitserland, Luxemburg, Italië, Duitsland en België.

The Leuven-based pianist, Lenny Bui-Vandeput, started playing the piano at the age of 6. Viool, Violin

Wout Callens (°2009, Sint-Niklaas) is een jonge violist met een uitgesproken muzikale gedrevenheid en een sterke affiniteit voor zowel solistisch als kamermuzikaal spel. Hij begon zijn vioolopleiding op zevenjarige leeftijd bij Joanna Vlaeminck aan de Stedelijke Academie voor Muziek, Woord en Dans in Sint-Niklaas. Al vroeg bleek zijn talent en leergierigheid, wat hem ertoe bracht om op twaalfjarige leeftijd zijn opleiding verder te zetten aan de internationaal gerenommeerde Musica Mundi School. Daar studeert hij momenteel viool bij professor Leonid Kerbel.

 Kamermuziek neemt een centrale plaats in binnen Wouts muzikale ontwikkeling. Aan de Musica Mundi School musiceert hij regelmatig met medestudenten in uiteenlopende bezettingen en volgt hij gespecialiseerde kamermuzieklessen bij Leonid en Liav Kerbel. Deze intensieve samenwerking scherpt zijn luistervaardigheid, muzikale flexibiliteit en ensemblegevoel aan, en vormt een belangrijk complement van zijn solistische opleiding.

 Ook als solist deed Wout reeds waardevolle podiumervaring op. Hij trad meerdere malen op met het Symfonisch Orkest van Lier onder leiding van dirigent Rik Ghesquière. Een bijzonder hoogtepunt was zijn recente uitvoering van het derde deel uit het Vioolconcerto van Max Bruch in de Koningin Elisabethzaal, een optreden dat getuigde van zijn technische beheersing en muzikale maturiteit.

 Daarnaast nam Wout deel aan diverse internationale opleidingen en festivals die zijn artistieke horizon verder verruimden. In 2023 was hij actief op het Musica Mundi Course & Festival en in 2025 op het festival *Music as Sanctuary*. Zijn deelname aan de Wedstrijd voor Jonge Solisten Stringendo werd bekroond met een eerste prijs, een erkenning voor zijn overtuigende muzikaliteit en podiumprésence.

 Wout vervolmaakte zijn spel verder tijdens masterclasses bij vooraanstaande violisten en pedagogen, waaronder Midori Goto, Mihaela Martin, Yair Kless, Alexandra Soumm en Boris Kalinovsky. Deze ontmoetingen droegen bij aan de verdieping van zijn interpretatieve visie en technische verfijning.

 Momenteel speelt Wout Callens op een Franse viool gebouwd door Jean-Baptiste Frebrunet, bespeeld met een Belgische strijkstok van Victor Bernard.

Wout Callens (born 2009 in Sint-Niklaas, Belgium) began his violin studies at the age of seven with Joanna Vlaeminck at the Municipal Academy of Sint-Niklaas. At twelve, he continued his musical education at the Musica Mundi School, where he currently studies violin with Professor Leonid Kerbel.

He has a strong passion for chamber music and regularly performs with fellow students at the Musica Mundi School. He also receives chamber music coaching there from Leonid and Liav Kerbel.
As a soloist, Wout has appeared several times with the Symphonic Orchestra of Lier under the direction of Rik Ghesquière. More recently, he was invited to perform the third movement of Bruch’s Violin Concerto in the Queen Elisabeth Hall (Antwerp).

He participated in the Musica Mundi Course & Festival in 2023 and in the Music as Sanctuary Festival in 2025. He also took part in the Stringendo Competition for Young Soloists, where he was awarded First Prize.

Wout has attended masterclasses with renowned artists such as Midori Goto, Mihaela Martin, Yair Kless, Alexandra Soumm, and Boris Kalinovsky.

He currently plays a French violin by Jean-Baptiste Frebrunet and a Belgian bow by Victor Bernard.

Itamar Carmeli is een klassieke en jazzpianist en componist en studeert momenteel in de klas van András Schiff aan de Barenboim-Said Akademie in Berlijn.

Hij studeerde eerder aan de Jerusalem Academy of Music and Dance en vervolgde zijn studie aan de Mannes School of Music aan The New School, College of Performing Arts in New York.

Hij voltooide de Arison Campus School of the Arts Tel Aviv en de Thelma Yellin High School of the Arts, en ontvangt regelmatig beurzen voor excellentie, toegekend door de America-Israel Cultural Foundation.
