Our Young Talents and Rising Stars are making themselves heard! Below is an overview of the most recent accomplishments:
RISING STARS:
Emile Souvagie (klarinet) wint een plaats in de Orkestacademie van het Concertgebouworkest Amsterdam voor seizoen 2022-2023. Naar aanleiding van deze topprestatie, was Emile op 20 maart 2022 als “Jonge Held” te gast bij Podium Witteman (NPO2).
Emile Souvagie (clarinet) wins a place in the Orchestra Academy of the Concertgebouw Orchestra Amsterdam for the 2022-2023 season. Following this amazing accomplishment, Emile was “Young Hero” during the Podium Witteman TV-show (NPO2, The Netherlands) on March 20, 2022.
Mathilde Wauters (harp) is KLARA “Twintiger” in februari 2022. Ze is momenteel lid van de orkestacademie van de Münchner Philharmoniker. Vanaf augustus 2022 speelt ze als ‘soloharp’ in het Residentieorkest in Den Haag.
Mathilde Wauters (harp) is KLARA “Twenty-er” in February 2022. She is currently a member of the orchestra academy of the Münchner Philharmoniker. From August 2022 she will play as ‘solo harp’ in the Residentieorkest in The Hague.
Firgun Ensemble (klarinetkwintet met Emile Souvagie) wint de KLARA Supernova.

Het Fibonacci Quartet (met Rising Star Luna De Mol op 1ste/2de viool) was te gast als “Jonge Held” bij Podium Witteman (NPO2) op zondag 7 maart 2022. Ze werden ook geselecteerd voor deelname aan het exclusieve Jong Talent Festival Schiermonnikoog van 11-17 maart 2022 en wonnen daar de Publieksprijs.
The Fibonacci Quartet (with Rising Star Luna De Mol on 1st/2nd violin) was “Young Hero” in the TV-show Podium Witteman (NPO2) on Sunday, March 7, 2022. They were also selected to participate in the exclusive Young Talent Festival Schiermonnikoog from March 11-17, 2022, where they won the Audience Award.
Samuel Van de Velde wint de Pianowedstrijd Stephan De Jonghe 2022: “Prachtige Artistieke Prestatie!”

Jiska Lambrecht (viool) wint met het Turicum Quartet de tweede prijs op de ‘Kiwanis Musikwettbewerb’ in Zürich. Op 12 juni 2022 traden ze op in de Grosser Konzertsaal van Toni-Areal in Zürich voor het laureatenconcert.
Eind september is het strijkkwartet uitgenodigd op de “Arosa Music Academy” door de altviolist van het befaamde Zwitserse Casal Quartet. In januari 2023 zullen ze samen met het Gringolts Quartet een octet spelen op het Mizmorim Festival in Basel.
Jiska Lambrecht (viool) wins with the Turicum Quartet the second prize on the ‘Kiwanis Musikwettbewerb’ in Zürich. June, 12th 2022 they performed in the Grosser Konzertsaal from Toni-Areal in Zürich for the laureates concert. The string quartet is invited end of september on the “Arosa Music Academy” by the viola player of the famous Swiss Casal Quartet. January 2023 they will play an octet together with the Gringolts Quartet on the Mizmorim Festival in Basle.
JONG TALENT – YOUNG TALENT:
Ruben Ide wint de Britten Violin Competition 2022 in Zwolle (Nederland).

Jonathan Ide wint de Steinway Competition 2022 in de categorie 2. Ruben Vanderpijpen en Yelin Wangzhang worden eveneens laureaat (klik hier om de volledige uitslag te bekijken). Jonathan Ide wint eveneens de Cantabile Wedstrijd 2022 in de middelbare graad. Akari Bastiaens en Yelin Wangzhang behalen respectievelijk een 2de en 3de prijs (klik hier om de volledige uitslag te bekijken).
Jonathan Ide wins the Steinway Competition 2022 in categorie 2. Ruben Vanderpijpen and Yelin Wangzhang are laureates. Jonathan Ide also wins the Cantabile Competition 2022 in the middle age group. Akari Bastiaens and Yelin Wangzhang won 2nd and 3rd Prize respectively (click here to view the full results).
